Cats & Dogs - Introductions without the Fur Flying

Dogs and cats do not have to be enemies; in ...

Cats Protection has been helping cats for more than 80 years and is the largest feline charity in the UK, helping 140,000 cats and kittens every year. It is made up of approximately 265 self-funding voluntary groups across the country of which Horsham and District is one such branch.

Our branch was founded in 2000 and is entirely volunteer run. We cover postcodes RH12, 13, 14 which spans from Rusper down to Partridge Green and across to Kirdford and covers Horsham, Billingshurst and Southwater. Every penny we raise goes directly on the cats in our care, including the upkeep of our rescue pens and vets bills, which can be very expensive. Each cat that we rescue – or that is handed in - is taken to the vet for a health check, blood-test, inoculations, micro-chipping and sometimes neutering; costing us an average £100 per cat. All cats, including ferals, are also treated for fleas, ear mites and worms. We rarely receive a donation from people handing a cat in to be re-homed so rely upon the kindness of cat lovers to fund our charity.

Our next Event will be a Homing show
 at Broadbridge Heath Village Centre,
(Opposite the Tesco roundabout) Wickhurst Lane, Broadbridge Heath RH13 3LY

Come and meet the cats.   Admission free - but donations or cat-food welcome.  11 am - 3pm .
