Help us help even more cats with the Thames Bridges Trek!

28 March 2017
Help us help even more cats with the Thames Bridges Trek! On the 7th of September 2017, our branch secretary Lesley Belton will be completing the Thames Bridges Trek to raise money for Cats Protection.

Lesley says:

"I say completing, but I am an Olympic-level couch potato, and the furthest I normally walk is to and from the coffee shop, so this will be quite a challenge.

This epic trek covers 25km starting at Putney Bridge and finishing at Southwark, just beyond Tower Bridge. There are sixteen bridges in total, and there had better be coffee at the finish line!

I'm raising money for a great cause. £150 is the average amount it costs us to care for each cat in our pens, so the more I can raise the more cats we can help. All the money I raise will go straight to the Horsham and District Cats Protection branch.

I’m doing all the hard work, so please go to my Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com/Lesleyslosthermarbles and click on the little donate button to help me meet my fundraising target.

If you prefer, you can text KITI53 £3 to 70070, or come and see me at in person the information table at one of our events and homing shows.

I'll update you regularly with fundraising totals and my training progress, so watch this space!"

We wish Lesley the best of luck, and hope she helps raise plenty of funds for the cats in our care!
